I have a turbo timer which says it needs a 5V digital singal from the tacho sinal to operate and if it doesnt have it needs a RPM Signal Level Converter spacer.gif. does anyone know if the r33 tacho signal is 5v digital already? or do i need the converter

What sort of timer is it? I know with my timer (Greddy FATT) that I have it connected to the Vehicle Speed Sensor signal from the ECU which is pin 53. Vehicle Speed Sensor signal is basically engine rpm's. I've attached a screenshot for you if it helps.

thanks, mines a hks turbo timer and i need to connect to the speed sensor and tacho signal, so what your saying i can connect both wires to the speed sesnsor instead?
