I took my JDM stereo out a few months ago and since then ive been hearing it. As i havnt put a new stereo in yet and have left the large hole in the dash i can hear it more louder although its still very faint. I cant spot where its coming from but seems to be near the heater unit in the behind the dash somewhere. Its defiently electronic. It beeps once every 1.5 secs or so. Ive noticed it more on cold mornings when its dark but not when im coming home from work when its warmer and daylight.

should not be anything to do with the pod filter modification, even if the afm is played with i dont think it triggers a beeping sound..i'd say it is electrical...try identify wat region it is coming from, maybe take it to someone e.g a mechanic and take him/her for a drive..

mine does a similar problem, when im cruising in 5th gear and hold my accelerator in the same spot for a minute, this 'faint beeeeeeeeeppp' sound will start, soon as i just release the peddle or press it a wee bit more it stops, then if i hold it in that same spot it'l start again...:S

definetly sounds like its comin from the drivers side

?

i sometimes get a high pitched sound coming from my engine bay. But once i rev it to get if over idle rpm it goes away, then when it drops back to idle rpm it continues to make it. Just confused because i don't know wtf it could be.

Not the timing belt or something?

Not the timing belt or something?

Hmmm nuh i dont think a timing belt can make that kind of sound lol. What i think it might be is (just thought of it) is my HKS SSQV is sucking in air on idle. Have to check it out.
