Is my clutch dying?

My clutch operates fine when I'm just plodding around, but when I change gears at high revs, say above 5000 rpm, it feels rough as I push it in. It doesn't feel like it's slipping though. Is this a sign that it's on its way out or could there just be a lack of lube?

I have a similar problem usually changing from 4th - 5th at about 120km/h. This usually only happens though when its the first gear change into 5th, then its fine?

if it makes a crunching noise at the same time, do a search for "redline"

so you reckon the redlione gearbox oil will remove a 4th to 5th high rpm crunch?

it did for me

back then even normal shifting on the freeway from 3rd-4th-5th gave me some crunching problems....now that the Redline is in...all gone can't believe it made all the difference:uh-huh:

i'll have to find somewhere to get it in western sydney!!!

just for peace of mind for track days, this is when it normally happens sometimes on the private tracks everyone has too
