Cheap Knock Sensor Kit

Here's the output of the board on my car plotted against RPM and AFR.

is that knock reading scaled similar to a power fc? ie: too much knock on that run, or was that after a full tune and ok to thrash daily?

I scaled it as a percentage. 100 being 5v and 0 being 0v.

My PowerFC's knock reading on that run was 18. So general engine noise at high rpm on this graph is up in the 40s whereas my PowerFC reads high teens for general engine noise.

OK Jaycar sell a knock sensor kit that is designed to interface with their ignition system (but the system starts to get expensive especially with the programmer etc etc)...but the output is luckily linear in relation to knock intensity; 0 -5v range. You can take the output of their knock sensor kit and wire it into their bar graph voltage display kit (set at 0-5v input) and you've got a nice visual knock warning with graduations!!!
