How much was the kit and what does it consist of ?

I got the Gates Timing Belt Kit for $260 + $15 freight from Croydon.

That was with the standard black belt. The blue high performance belts cost more.

I've seen some on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SKYLINE-GATES-RACIN...Q2em118Q2el1247

I had actually seen one store on ebay selling them at quite varying prices due to them starting at lower prices rather than buy it now. I can't seem to find it at the moment, that and I'm at work now, but do a search you might be in luck :P

The more expensive part in getting the belt changed is the labour :)

$260 is quite expensive even for a Gates branded belt. If you are not going to do any mods go the genuine nissan belt for about $90 - It is available from the Nissan dealership.

That was for the belt, tensioner and idler pulleys and seals.
