Im in the process of fitting 2 stock RB20 turbos to my r32 RB20DET. I know once its all completed i should get it dynoed. Anyway what im asking is for those ppl who have put bigger turbos on RB20's, wat have they had to upgrade first? ie what comes first. Fuel Pump, Injectors, AFM?? Also what type of bhp can they handle? Thanks for ya help

Thinking budget... then AFM can be tuned around if you exceed its voltage range, injectors can be given a new lease if life with a bigger fuel pump and adjustable fuel regulator.

So fuel pump and regulator should be high up on the list, along with the ECU.

Then from there suck it and see whether your intercooler/exhaust/clutch/fuelling/susp etc etc are all doing what you need of them.

As for how much power??????????? Depends on a lot of things, tuning/age-kms etc etc. One thing to remember though is the Gibson Motorsport R31s with their RB20s used factory crank/rods/plenum so the basis is there for a sound engine.

And dont listen to all those RB25 owners, they have no imagination.
