Hey all,

I got a davies, craig thermal switch (tried to make one but too much effort) and the wiring harness that comes with it pre wired looks wrong in my opinion as to what the wiring diagram says. below is a pic of the relay and the link for the install guide. if you could tell me which pin is what on the relay that would be helpful. i think i know which is which but i would just like a 2nd opinion.

The wiring harness that came with it has the [Red with fuse] on the middle pin, [blue] on bottom, [black] on the left and [green] on the right.

Where as i think the [red] is on the bottom [blue] on one of the top two, [black] on the right and [green] on the left.

Yes, you are right. Wire it up as per the instructions (Reference 2). It wouldn't really matter if the red wire is on pin 87 and blue on the bottom unless you were planning to power 2 items then you could use the two 87 terminals (it is a twin throw relay).

The switch closes (and turns on the fan) when the thermal switch activates and powers the relay coil.
