Cubes
Good turn out for the imports and old school muscle and a few ford xr6/8's. Pitty no newish holdens rocked up. Interesting to see Shauns dyno was reads pretty much smack on par with the Graham Wests mainline. Most impressive/interesting I found was the dude with his Silver R33 running on E85. Top effort impressed with the street tune.. Smelt like a fish and chip shop that hadn't changed its cooking oil for a month or two as it drove out. Thanks for thumbs up cubes, definately smelt better than the Av Gas from some of the old school beasts, was good to see a nice variety of cars and see how they compare. toyotacarclub.net
The day was long, the cars were awesome and the numbers were high. While we didnt get the turn out of Holdens we expected, with no Holdens coming to the dyno at all, the domestics we always going to struggle. The Imports layed down some big numbers early with Gavins rather impressive 487 rwkw from his A80 Supra. While the results were helped out by a late arrival of Fords from the KPM day there was to be no big come back and the imports took out the day. It was a great day, lots of awesome cars, both Turbo and N/A Muscle. I'd personally like to thank all those that took the time to bring the car for a run and all those that helped run the day. We will run the event again next year, and as such will take any advice to try improve the running of the event. Once again, thanks to entrants and assistants! SLED
Yeah it was a very good day and good to catch up with a few regulars along with a couple I haven't met before. Andrew, your 32 GTR is a beast mate, well done.............who invited that Supra anyway and not to forget Adrian's fish n chip shop 33, very impressed............ha, now I can see why Joel gets his nickers caught up his bum everytime he mentions E85, lol Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/230948-domestic-vs-import-dyno-day/page/9/#findComment-4277393 Share on other sites
DSTROY
Yeah, it was a good day, great to see a mix of cars on the dyno. Loved the Charger and the big block Fords, and good to go to the pub after, cheers guys Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/230948-domestic-vs-import-dyno-day/page/9/#findComment-4277406 Share on other sites
Blue32
Great to catch up with you all - I had fun although a little boost controller issue robbed me of 4 psi of boost......not to worry I wouldn't have made another 100kws anyways!!! Might have to convert it to run on the good ole fish and chip fuel and spray instant HP all over the intercooler next time Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/230948-domestic-vs-import-dyno-day/page/9/#findComment-4277413 Share on other sites
180or200
I must be going to the wrong fish and chip shop, i think it smells sweat! does sting the eyes if running in an enclosed space tho Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/230948-domestic-vs-import-dyno-day/page/9/#findComment-4277418 Share on other sites

Might have to convert it to run on the good ole fish and chip fuel and spray instant HP all over the intercooler next time pfffff who needs a cold intercooler. use the bottle for what it was intended and ram a 200 hp shot of nos into the plenum like that clevo did. 208 kws without nos 369 kws with nos that would have got the crowd going, 2 bar and nos to make 500 rwkws.
