yep some places use a real large unit and place it there as ther is no room at the front for that size unit.

is it needed? Or can they be bought...for example if i wanted to get a smaller one! the thing looks horendous in my engine bay and id love to put a nice shiny oil catch can there :P

defect to not have it --- also the vent from the fuel tank needs to go somewhere..

hide it and leave it connected .. doesnt gain you anything to remove it.

the charcoal canister contains activated charcoal. i think fuel vapour from the tank goes into this and is absorbed by the charcoal

it doesnt hurt to have one of these.

smaller canister will generally mean that the activated charcoal will become fuel-saturated over time, im fairly sure

its an ADR that the charcoal canister is there

possibly you shouldnt take all of that as gospel though, i only learned it at tafe last semester... and i was fair hungover that day =D

What your saying makes perfect sense...so next time make sure you drink more!

I have no problems keeping mine in place its got a job and if it keeps the boys in blue happy heck ill leave it....i would like a smaller one though if it was possible lol

After half hour on google im not seeing anything...although the design is fairly straight forward so i cant see why these wouldnt be interchangable between car makes and models so wreckers might be an idea
