Hi guys,

I took my Type R Integra to a mechanic because it wasn't reversing properly and it wouldn't down shift to 2nd gear. They "rebuilt" my gearbox with new bearings and gave everything a clean. The car now reverses properly and down shifts to second without a problem BUT it now doesn't go into 4th gear below 3500rpm. I took the car back to the mechanic the next day and I have left it there since. They have pulled out the gearbox another 2 times (apparently) and they can't find anything wrong. They've had the car for a total of 6 weeks now and I'm starting to get concerned.

What should I do? Is it reasonable to ask for all my money back and take the car somewhere else? Does anyone know a simply reason why it wouldn't engage 4th easily?

Thanks.
