Hey guys,

I did a bit of a search and couldn't seem to spot anyone with the same problem. I have just had my Power FC put in and now when the key is turned to the accessories switch the engine light flashes at a constant flash like an indicator. When i turn the key to the ignition switch (turns on aircon fan, etc) it goes off. As for when im driving i am yet to see it at all. I am experiencing what i think is a bit of a miss while driving at constant speed but i don't get any lights when it occurs.

Any suggestions? Can i get something out of the FC hand controller that might help?

I don't have an english manual so if anyone has one id appreciate it

Cheers

From Apexi PowerFC FAQ

The cars factory engine check light or exhaust temp light should NOT be on. If this is on or flashing it indicates a sensor problem. See the "Sensor Check" section on what to look for to identify the faulty or wrong sensor.

MAIN MENU, ETC, SENSOR SW / CHECK Look for any sensor names highlighted in BLACK background or any flashing sensors. Any highlighted in black indicates a problem.

hope that helps?

Did you find out if it was a sensor issue? If its the exhaust temp sensor then its nothing really to worry about, and when thats disconnected it will make the check engine light flash aswell.

Well seems to be the airtemp and watertemp... as they are the 2 items that are flashing highlighted in the PFC sensor screen. As soon as i switch it on though they show as being in use but no errors... so i don't think its a major issue.

Cheers
