I just purchased a cat back exhaust and want to install it myself

it looks simple, just slip the old one out of the rubber mounts and put the new one in

is that it or is there a trick to it?

I just dont want to break it (with a hammer when it pisses me off) :P

well - how easy the job will be depends greatly on the quality of the catback you bought.

if it was on a stock standard stagea before you will probably be fine!

the only thing that might stuff you up is the orientation / roation of the flange that bolts onto the cat. Hopefully all the hangers are in place. Some of those exhaust bolts can be pretty tight to remove!

good luck matey!

the more room you have under the car the quicker you will do it as well.

with only 2 foot of room you are going to whinge and moan like i did when i did my r33.

Also it depends on if the exhaust fits under or over the back diff too .

and also sometimes getting those damn oxy sensors out can be a pain.. espec when the previous retard owner puts the wrong thead one in.
