I first noticed this problem in the cold morning, when i push my clutch in from time to time, when the engine is cold it makes a winding/grinding noise, so i try to minimise my clutch usage when the engine is cold.....

but now even when the engine is warm, it still makes that grinding/winding noise

I first thought this could be the thruster bearing.....

what could it be possibly??

yeah could be your release bearing has gone, which i think is the most likely, sometimes you can hear them spin but if its making a grinding noise its probably finally died (well close to anyways) not sure what happens when you dont change it but wouldnt want to risk it lol,
