I was looking at the 2006+ HIDs on ebay.com (USA) just today... The ones from the Infiniti G35 are the same (as they are the same car as the 350GT).

They look pretty damn sexy, and don't cost that much in the scheme of things.

does it fit the car?the one u were looking at is come wiz HID?

Yep exactly. As Chris said the US versions are designed for the US roads who drive on the opposite side to us here in Aus, and Japan. So the lean will be on your right side headlight, going into oncoming traffic.

How bad is it? not sure, i know there is one member here who has done the conversion.

I may be able to get my hands on the ballast and ignitors if you want the current headlights to be xenon, but it won't give you projectors.

Cheers

Bobby

The question was about fit and they would :(

Nah you are right. You can also find them on yahoo.jp auctions, use Import Monster or something. Probably looking at $6-700ish/set deliverered if you are lucky. I was trying to keep it simple

Thanks for the reply guys...

do u guys know if i wanna get a HID CONVERSION KITS on the current headlights, what size of bulks do i need?H1 OR anything else?

and Bobby, r u selling any kind of the HID KITS?

one more question, where can i install the Kits on the car in Brisbane?nice and cheap shops?

thanks again...

Hi Penny,

No I don't sell HID kits but a mate is a bit of a HID guru and does alot of conversions in the motorbike world.

He can get any part of the stock HID kit you need, from Ballasts (which should hopefully still be there as Chris said) to ignitors which are usually cut during compliance.

As an example in my case the Ballast was still there as it forms the cover for the high beam (at the back of the headlight) and I just needed new ignitors. He got these for me for around $100, joined two wires added globes and i was back to Xenon. 30mins work.

If you know what you need let me know and I'll see if he has them. He loves the stock units on the V35's and uses them in a lot of conversions as apparantly they are a nice reliable unit.

Cheers

Bobby
