if i were you, (which i sortof am because mines almost standard appart from the odd 3.5 or 4inch exhaust and pod filter), i'm getting the tuning and the new cpu after i have added all or most of the performance parts that i am going to put onto the car soon. from what i have been told if the car is tuned and then you add performance parts afterwards, you will not get the full benefits of the expensive part..... hence throw what ever you want onto it before you tune it.....

im going off what i have learnt in the last few months. someone correct me if i am wrong

+1 yes you will be wasting your money if your car is stock. better spent on an exhaust, intake mod or a bleeder or swaybars or even get a thorough service. I can think of numerous other things to spend it on than a tune/remap. also 33 ecu's arent generally remapped for some tech reason, though i have heard of a guy in syd that used to do it by replacing chips but he would tune to what mods you have and in your case you have none so again its a waste of money.

always do your research, this site is good for it and dont always believe what everyone says..ha.
