R32 Filter Life

I just purchased a standard airbox for my 32 GTS-t and it has the original Nissan panel filter in it. Do you think the filter is alright to use until i get a replacement or is it rooted? Judge for yourself by looking at these pics...

PS: I got the air box and filter ready to bolt in for $60! Off a guy on these forums too.

To me it looks like it's time for a new filter, but if you look in between all those little peaks you can see how much dirt there is.

May as well get a new one anyway! I think you can get a replacement K&N panel filter for under 100 bucks
