Actually, mine had the Potenza Re01 Jap tyres that came on the rims from Japan, so should be fine there too...

Of course, it's possible different RTA inspectors at different inspection sites might have a different opinion, but I suspect as long as they are normal road tyres you shouldn't have a problem.
