Engine Warning Light & Slight Stuttering

it happens intermittently

the light comes on and sometimes the rev drops a lil and feel the car stuttering a bit, when i accelerate it feels a bit sluggish, but sometimes the engine warning light just comes on & it drives normal..

ive changed plugs tonight to brand new platinums, checked my coil packs & coil pack wiring and they all seem fine, gave the packs a good rub & clean, no visible damage etc.

any ideas what else it could be ?

ive searched up and there were a few threads but not really with much info.

had a further deeper search and found an interesting thread.

according to 666dan, its pretty common for R34's to have this problem as it comes down tthe coilpacks giving up the ghost.

i guess ill save up for a set of splitfires then lol
