r_speedfreak_r
Hey all. I've been going to Jamboree for many years and every year i believe has been less exciting than the last and this year was no different. Ofcourse there were some great runs but it seems like the variety of crazy fast competitors are dropping. Rotorys always thrived at Jamboree but i think its getting a bit overwhelming. You hardly ever see a piston engine car anymore, i miss them. Highlights, the girls were even more stunning than ever, better spectator numbers and they had the Haltech gtr running 11.5's! Agreed, I left early as rotors bore me shitless. The promo slappers are the same ones from the original jambo with a lot more hail damage and wrinkles. All the hype about the 2j pro cars is just that. Hype. I have seen them stage around 20/30 times this year for 2 complete 1/4 mile passes. Tired of spending good money for zip. Highlight was the nitrous backfire in the bogan vl. Blew the bonnet off and split the manifold from arse to tit.
