I've just got an R34 GTt from Japan, it came with a Momo wheel on it but I decided to go back to a standard one with the airbag. Problem is that the damn light wont go off. It has an airbag canister in there and it's all plugged in but the light keeps flashing... anybody got any ideas?

Cheers,

Ben

I have the same problem but casued by swapping my ecu from emu to pfc.

Would love someone to jump in and give us some feedback on how to turn the farken thing off!

I've resorted to adusting my wheel to a height where it blocks the light whilst i'm driving!!!

hey mate. if you have change the steering wheel back to an air bag type you will need to erase the clock spring code. because the vehicle has been driving with out an air bag it has logged a hard code. your local auto elec should be able to clear that code if they can't you might need to go to nissan and see if the have the info on their tech to clear it. hope this helps.

called softcodes. built into ecu so you can do certain functions without consult

the workshop manual tells you how to take it out of diagnosis mode using a wire and the consult connector. I cannot remember the sequence for it anymore unfortunately
