Few Questions About Defectable Items

Hey guys I need some answers for the following before I make a mistake and it earns me a defect

I wanna buy and arc induction box, but is it legal or not? I know a pod is frowned on but how about this? I guess it can still effect emissions as it's larger etc

Also dash mounted gauges in a triple gauge cluster, I've got the same one as the guy who owns TOPRPM and want to mount it there is this illegal in nsw? I'm not sure what the ADR is on this, but I thought it was all dash mounted gauges cannot be higher than the highest point on the dash or something along that line

I THINK the arc airbox is legal because doesn't it state somewhere it has to be in a enclosed box and isnt that what it is. correct me if im wrong though...

it depends whos checking it, a normal copper you SHOULD be ok, but if its at the pits, they take a photo and it is assessed by rta/epa if its legal or not.

Even if the a/market or custom box is enclosed, unless its engineered its still illegal, as it does affect emissions, just depends how much the cop wants to bend you over on the night!

search up, i remember i had this drama before and there was some good info from users.

and yeah pretty sure my engineers has writen my boost controller and so on do not sit higher than the dash or obstruct my vision.

Noise pollution emissions... different intake = more induction noise = noise pollution = epa screws you over.
