Can U Identify This Dump Pipe ?

Hi guys,,

if u guys can please identify this dump pipe on my car? my mate reckon it's atock one but been told by previous owner it has 3" turbo back exhaust system..

So, what do u guys reckon??

Never believe some one selling a car.

Many will go to the extreme of stating a motor has been rebuilt when it hasn't.

Thats a stock dump pipe unfortunately.

You've also got a bit of a nasty oil leak down the back left rear of the block. Check out your cam cover gaskets and possibly tighten them up a tad if need be.

i would say its similar to mine (3in bellmouth dump), but i cant really see it, and i dont recognise the wleding or the flange.

dump pipe is most certainly the factory cast item. all though your front pipe(turbo dump to cat) quite possibly is 3', when people refer to 3' turbo back exhaust it is often dump pipe back unless specified

^^ they are taken from the top... where else should he take them from thats 'normal' ???

Yep stock, and yep, oil leak. de-greae it. drive it for a day or two and see where the oil leak is comming from and FIX!!!!

I was told mine had a 3" turbo back as well, went to change it for a one piece split dump when i replaced my turbo and found out that it was the standard cast front dump into a 3" dump into a standard 2.5" cat into a 3" cat back.
