How To Check Lsd Diffs?

Im looking to purchase a LSD diff for my 33 GTS.

How do i check if the diff is really a 1.5way or a 2way LSD or even a LSD diff to begin with.

Ive found a Nismo 2 way but just wanna to be sure its a 2way and im not ripped off.

Open rear casing and check 2 way should look like this

check out diamond shape in casing for 2 way nismo diff..

There's no real way of telling if the diff is a two way when it is in the housing. You have to pull it apart. But you can tell if its an lsd or not. You shouldn't be able to turn the half shafts independently of each other.
