Need Assistance Ceffy Cuts Out!

alright this is the problem:

driving along the ceffy cut out so i pulled over got it started again.

woke up next morning and wouldnt start. ive noticed that a red light with what looks like a cat converter with heat lines above it comes on and stays on and the car just turns over and doesnt go. the light is under the low fuel light. so i left it for the day and went to work. come home and tried it and it started?

Its had a fuel pressure check done. ok

checked ignition module. ok

checked coils. ok

checked a/f meter. ok

checked timing. ok

checked exhaust not blocked.

havent tried comp test cos it runs perfect when it starts.

only thing i can think of is the ecu?

so any ideas?

could be a crimp/break in your wiring harness . if its the light im thinking of , its exh temp (that sensor that plugs into your cat converter , look there

maybe take the car to a performance mechanic

...or buy my ceffy

is there any way to get rid of the temp sensor from the cat by bypassing it somehow?

Have you tried TPS

Throlle position sensor on throttle body as mine used to play up every now and then so i went to nissan and bought a new one

mine has had the wire cut!

havent tried tps but i dont think that is the problem as it runs fine when it does start.

im gonna disconnect the exhaust temp sensor and see what happens.
