TaKz
well instead of starting a new thread going to bump this one. at the moment my car ebc @ 10psi, r34 smic, 3" cat back, pod. i'm going to get it tuned soon and was wondering if it will be worth finishing my exhaust. like how much power difference will it make after the tune having the dump/front and not having it? and an upgrade of turbo in the future has not been ruled out thanks Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/233253-what-dumpfront-pipe-to-use/#findComment-4217411 Share on other sites
Munkyb0y
yes it's very worth it. more response, more midrange, more power throughout. get a 3 inch dump/front pipe, and a highflowing cat. preferably a metallic cat. i'm guessing you already have an aftermarket ecu or piggyback that you'll be getting tuned? r33cruiser
back on me stock turbo setup, i just used a 3'' split one off ebay. similar to jjr. cost me 50bucks i think. and it lined up perfectly, no leaks, cracks. was very happy with it Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/233253-what-dumpfront-pipe-to-use/#findComment-4217663 Share on other sites
shaunzo101
i spoke to an exhaust guy at his workshop about dump pipes, and he says avoid stainless steel because of the high heat temps the turbo can build up, and a high-flow cat to go with it so there is a more free flow. You will also need to buy a gasket for the turbo/dump from nissan or somewhere too.
