Finally getting around to posting pictures. Here's my 250GT, with random Taiwan rims that need to be changed, and apparently, a West Coast Customs GFRP bumper. I have the skirts and rear bumper as well but I'm already having clearance issues with just the front being an inch lower, and the rear bumper was meant to fit on top of the USDM pedestrian friendly Infiniti bumpers.

Took awhile to get used to it but I love the front bumper now, and its great for my Injen CAI. No problems with water, even with the heavy rain here in Malaysia. Just gotta be smart about puddles of course.

One minor setback is the day that i bought it of dad (no joke) i got hit by a massive hail storm on the highway through logan.. NOT Happy, currently waiting for the parts to come in from Japan.

I was trying to work out whether to replace my US sized QLD plate with a slimline for the front and your photos have convinced me its a good idea :D

Awesome car mate! I would be spewing about the hail thought

What spec is it? Auto or Manual? Premium/Non, Leather?

What are your plans for it?

Thanks man, yeah the v35's had real bad choice of woodgrain, some were too dark and some too light and all were just so out of place with the silver centre console. This ones is way better than my maxima's wood grain actually feels very solid.

Actually noticed it had the blue in it after I posted (was on the mobile..derr!). Very nice colour !. Its like a slightly deeper version of my V35 lakeshore blue.--People tell me it looks grey at night also !..

Nah mate you definitely did well..I know what you mean my V35 Lakeshore blue is similar- seems to morpha at night-looks grey/purple & in day silver blue. To me, in standard trim the V suites this kind of colour and the black more than anything and judging by the comments of friends and strangers, the first thing they say is the colour ! Sure if you change the car, lower it, flash wheels, etc the whites/greys/other come into their own. But this shade is majic as it is & still gets stares and thumbs up even when dirty !(just hides it so well too).Good luck !!

Yeah wasn't happy at all! um its the Premium auto..

Definate plans are:

- tint the driver and passanger windows so they blend in more

- change the grill to the 'open mouth' style grill

- a set of Varrstoen 2.2.2's in matt black

- exhaust system

- new suspension

haven't really looked at major engine mods as im unsure on the availability of parts in Aus.. but will keep you guys updated

You and me both

Twin Turbo kits available HERE

Plenty of options really, can even buy the Trust kit for 370Z and it's a DIRECT bolt in affair with no mods needed

EDIT

I'mn looking at buying V36 370GT so you guys with V35 obviously need to look at the 350Z or similar kits

OHH and 2nd EDIT

This is pretty much what my new one will look like (same wheels and same colour)

Just waiting for one to come up for sale in manual

Please anybody out there can help me out. I'm looking for anyone in Sydney that have a scanner that could read the trouble codes on the V35 350GT-8 2002model thank you. I have problem with my transmission, it will not change gear after half an hour of driving.

WOW, sorry to tell you Keng Ly, but it will probably be cheaper for you to buy a new car than fix your CVT box .... once they have problems they are HUGE trouble .... search around the net for the dozens of horror stories on these gearboxes. It is the reason I didn't buy a CV8 - as much as they are great to drive ....

    • Only thing I'd add...is on recommendation from a good diff shop, I've used mineral oil in my diff including the race car for years. The synthetics can be too slippery and glaze the gears
    • 75W90 GL5 is fine. If you aren't sure about the type get one with LSD additive.
    • Because you're effectively rushing the shift and forcing it to go in - with greater leverage against parts that don't _want_ to go together. Short shift = forcing the gear in harder. Also Redline Heavy Shockproof actively says not to use it in anything with Synchros. Well, it says "not recommended" which is basically as far as anyone will ever say in a product statement to "Do not use" Generally the Redline makes the gearbox feel great... until it fails faster. https://www.redlineoil.com/heavy-shockproof
    • 99.9% of them are viscous diffs. The 0.01% are helicals. They were only option-able in the series 2, as well. I have redline heavy shockproof in my helical. It seems... fine? I don't think anyone is ever going to know until something really breaks and at that point I'm not sure anyone will blame the oil. I just chose it because it's extremely heavy duty and my car will see not-road-legal duty for it. I've also had sadness with various diff oils in the past sweating out everywhere and/or other 'fun' things, with clutch diffs. Given you have a 1.5 way on the shelf, I'd not even bother with the diff in the car and just get to tinkering with it. I would spend the $90 on oil toward the labor of someone else putting the diff in if time poor even lol.
    • I believe mine is helical and not clutch type. During drifting one wheel was spining as if it was open diff so bought kazz 1.5 way and has sat on my shelf for the past 5 years as I want to learn shiming process and do it myself   in meantime thought I change the diff oil hence post here. So any 75-90?   i am pretty sure r34 are helical not clutch lsd as standard . That is gtt ones
