Timing Belt Tensioner Spring

i'am changing the timing belt, idler and tensioner on my rb20 at the moment and can't figure out where the end of the spring on the tensioner is supposed to sit,

i can see the stud sticking out of the block and thought it might rest against that but thought something may be missing from it like a bolt to hold it in place

there also seems to be some sort of indent in the block and did'nt know if it was supposed to sit in there or what

any help is much appreciated

yep it rests against the stud there.

hope you know what you are doing lining up the cams and everything, timing belt is tricky if you aren't familiar with how to do it

i've had it started already but the new water pump gasket leaked so i had to pull it apart again and thought i better make sure the spring went there so i did'nt have to pull it apart again
