Planning to get in mid 2010. I want to see if nissan does a proper job in servicing and how much they charge.

errr good luck with getting a 'manual box' - they only come in paddle shift semi-auto ....

actually they only come with a DSG twin clutch paddle shift gear box. small point but an important one as they are very different to any 'semi-auto' out there.

Nissan are selling them here, as long as its before the cutoff - that means NO grey import

Yeh and if nissan do stop the grey imports from rolling in ill just look at getting a second hand one.

Either way in 5/6/7 years they will be a lot cheaper and more of a performance bargain IMO

my mates dad is REALLY keen to get one but his wife is being a bitch about it, ive sent him an email about the costs etc hopefully he puts her back in the kitchen and gets one

For those interested here is a rough brake down of cost on a Aust. delivered GTR.

150k - car

6k - for super silver

6k - s/s exaust

9k - 22in wheels

just under 44k - warranty (inc ext) and after care

TOTAL COST (above plus dealer del. etc)

$215k should be delivered around end of Jan next year.

BTW this is not my car but i have been asked to race it at club days (the guy had a broken back and can not race it)

The owner of the dealer's one is arriving in december.
