hi,

im currently getting my rb26 rebuilt with good internals, jun pump, ati balancer, pauter rods, cp pistons, hks 272, 10.2mmlift cams, and a full house ported head with hypertune manifold for my s15

now i have a innovative turbo systems GT80 , all i know about this turbo is thats its got a 80mm front wheel, and a .96 rear housing and the rear wheel is 80mm or very close to it with a x trim wheel......

i have no idea how to use those turbo graphs and would like to know what rpm it would come on at, my rev limit will be set at 9000rpm, maby 9250rpm.....

i havent got a flow diagram, i cant find one aniwhere, and even if i could id have no idea what to do.....

anyones experienced help i would appreciate as if its too big ill sell it for a to4z and run that....

cheers

denis

how many hp is it rated to? sounds massive

i would go the to4z

i got a fairly big turbo on atm and dont get 24psi till 5200 and its too laggy for anything i recon.

i would go something similar to t04z size maybe even smaller

Innovative turbo HAD a website with information on those turbos but it seems to no longer exist, if its an 80mm inducer then thats way huge by most vaguely sane people's standards for a street car. It will be floating in the flow capacity area of the kind of turbos two of the fastest GTRs in the world (ie, mid/high 7s cars) are running, and also lag.

Don't know anything about the GT80 so can't comment.

T04z will be good for drag and u will be able to get over 400rwkw with pulp fuel in it.

For street use it wouldn't be my choice as it's a tad laggy but hey that's just me - i'd go a GT35 instead....assuming you are sticking to running a single turbo set up of course.
