Idle Bad When Turbo Timer Is Used

Hi Guys,

I've bought an R34 and it had a HKS Turbo timer already installed. When i switch of the car and the turbo timer kicks in the idles drop and the car coughs and splatters until the timer finishes and then turns off.

I bought a GReddy turbo timer and plugged this into the existing harness and the same thing happens.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Could it be the original wiring?

it sounds electrical. try bypassing the harness or reinstall the harness.

someone in the maitenance section had the car running rough and found out that it was a bare wire making contact with the chassis.

My car doesn't cough or splutter with my Blitz TT but it does idle lower.

I don't know if that's normal...???

when my greddy tt kicks in the idle drops a little bit, it must just be a bit slow to start or something. but it still runs ok.
