How much hp can I run in my rb26dett on the stock head gasket? Im from the US where there is no Skylines or parts for them or tech information. Please dont respond unless you know what your talking about. Thanks.

my friend has been running around 400hp at the wheels with std headgasket on his R32 GTR

Thats what I was running too. Now Im doing all the head work and milling the head. I know that higher compression means less boost on pump gas but with race gas and 20psi Im planning to have 500rwhp. High boost track setup only.

well he ran that for over a year everyday without probs, although he is now running an HKS metal headgasket and forged internals, but not quite yet making 500hp i think its like 460hp or something but only running 1bar

You can use stock gaskets for huge power, but o-ring the block is a good idea, will help to prevent the gasket blowing out.
