G4 Brake Calipers Are They Any Good ..whats An Alternative ?

I have an R34 GTR master which I think is marginally larger than the standard R34 GTT one. Pedal feel is great. Nice and firm. Bias is better than stock. 330mm G4 front's, standard rears.

Where did you get the EBC's from MrKotter? Now you're going to make me research the various EBC compounds and how they work and wear aren't you?

IIRC RaceBrakes would do them for $308, but direct from EBC was ~$280.

To give you a rough start on the lineup;

Greens are sort of like DS2000

Reds are sort of like DS2500

Yellows are sort of like DS3000

I used Greens in my Porsche 928 ~4 years ago and they worked ok at the track (only 1:18s at wakie with auto trans doing some braking duty, but same weight as GTR) . but i've heard others trash Reds in quicktime with track work. Maybe the compounds have improved over the years.

$280 sounds like a good price. Might try some yellows when these ones wear out.
