Just wondering...

If a driver doesn't know where the bonnet release is, does the Policeman have the right to access that bonnet release?

Is there a technicality here or not? I'm talking about intakes/pods etc that are suss.

What does just cause mean? Could he say that he's looking for drugs under the bonnet just as a ruse to see the mods?

Cheers, T

This got linked to over on aus300 -haven't read the whole thread so apologies if this has already been covered.

My guess is they are coming back for the car. They have your mates address (from his license), and they've had a good look in the cabin and under the hood.

Watch out.

Terry.. If you say no you will get nailed.. But I suppose if your latch was broken and nissan had it on the way then you've got no issue..

But it would be a defect anyway.. surely.

yup its defect n they can even bend u over n f*k u harder wit a epa notice!
