Hey guys, Looking for Fabricators that are well known for the craftsmanship in Melbourne to make me a Metal intake pipe for for turbo. It has to line up wit the factory Air box and i will be using the plum back BOV so must be able for me to plum it back in using the stock piping with minor modifications.

If anyone knows a good fabricator in Melbourne, preferably in the western suburbs. Please Leave me a PM

Cheers guys =]

Any of the workshops there will have contacts for fabricators... OR hav fabricators that work inhouse.

Give the ones closest a call

Also Kane - you gotta reduce that signature size dude

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/boardrules.html

1 Keep signature images to within 600x150 pixels

2 Combined Text and Image signatures to be kept within 600x200 pixels

Cheers boys

You can make your own with a piece of stainless steel pipe, cut the factory rubber one at a certain point, insert the steel and clamp at both ends...

Might sound dodgy when written like that, but it works perfectly and looks almost stock. There's a DIY with pics floating around somewhere...

JPC in Thomastown on err.. Lipton Dr, off Mahoney's Rd, same rd as Centreline

they did nice work for me a while back

Or theres Glenroy Exhaust in Somerton

but.. from memory I went back caus the welding (intake pipe) was really messy on the inside and there was a small hole in one of the joins/seams... so I pretty much only go there for pieces now and DIY (Drive It to Your.. friendshouse&makethemdoit) haha

bonus with this is you still have play with the factory rubber hose

unlike the full metal one if its off a little it wont fit and you wasted your monies

JPC, nah dont like them..

Thanks for all the help guys.. I like Dez's Idea.. any one selling a Stock turbo to air box rubber hose thingo?

Protek in Thornbury? I really enjoyed it when they left coolant (dripping from someone else's car) on my bonnet all day.... it was still there when I picked up the car.. I have a lovely 'racing stripe' down my bonnet now... noice.

Aircon doesn't work still.. win-win situation.

Protek.. Not a big fan. got my Breaks done on my 180sx a few years back and they forgot to tighten the front left caliper bolts.. on the ring road back home, it fell off and tore up my inside of my left rim.. Dom said sorry, Didn't even offer to pay for damages...

im guessing you want this to stop the intake pipe from sucking closed (if you want the noise you need to remove your bov) try one of these http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SKYLINE-R33-34-GTST...1QQcmdZViewItem they get listed in black from time to time.
