Are Underbody Neons Legal or not

I was driving a mates Corolla one night last year and I had the neons glowing for some *wank* factor (I guess I'd be one person who knows wank better than anyone LOL) and I got pulled over ... was very interesting to say the least.

They went around the car, inspected all the bits and pieces, asked me to turn the neons on, of course I did...

I didn't get yellowed though, I was surprised cause they did give me a bit of a hard time.

I guess I got away lucky... eh... wasn't my car.... LOL

if you go to a licencing centre they have a handout which you can carry in your glovebox to show the cops, this explains the conditions that apply to neons. chris
