has anyone been up Pt Wakefield rd recently?

Last I heard it was a 25km/hr zone for so far that it was quicker to go out through Gawler and cut back across.

Considering the roadworks and that most of us will have detailed cars, is it worth considering another route?

I'd say the quickest route the better, I haven't had a chance to get the car detailed and I doubt I will before the show.

dunno if it will be worth detailing the cars until we are there as they will get some dirty and dusty from the trip there.

i did a bit of detailing today, engine bay etc and also washed the car, i plan on washing it again next friday night, then ill just take some waterless wash and a chamois to kadina.

im not going overboard with cleaning it, i dont care enough, haha.

my car is far from perfect, its got a few chips in the kit etc.

same, front bars just hanging on and rear bar has cracks etc. just shows that we drive our cars not just look at them in a glass case like some show cars

hmm no it doesnt have any holes. but its a rusted out s13, so i still lose..

the roadworks on pt wakefield only extend up to waterloo cnr road, the rest is 90, then 100.

it takes 1.5 hrs to get there, leaving at 6:30 will get us there at 8, to be set up by 8:30

as per marks request.

I had a work mate travel to Pt Augusta last week and she was complaining about the roadworks, if they end at waterloo cnr road, it wont be a problem if I head up kings road to the servo.
