Hey guys, ill be replacing my shocks in the r33 gtr today, and would like to confirm the torque settings for the bottom strut nut (the really tight one connecting to the eyeball).....and the two top nuts of the struts (in the parcel tray area)...

Also need to know wheel nut torque specs....

I dont have a handbook on me....

Thanks:)

BUMP - just to clarify firther...the bottom stut nut is the 17mm one with the washer....and the two top strut nuts which are 14mm......always really paranoid about correct torque settings for these as its suspension!!!...

Also, what are good torque settings for spacer to hub nuts?....alot of people say to tighten them as much as you would a wheel nut....but i cant seem to get them that tight .....

Thanks!!!

Thanks....so basically even the spacers dont have to be torqued up to the hub ... but just at a tight setting.....

Indeed. Pretty much anything other than engine/g-box just needs to be "Tight" :P

Thanks - what would be considered tight though?....just hand tight...tight to a point where it feels like it definitely wont come loose?

Well they are pretty large bolts, so im guessing your using a 1/2" Socket set, so do it up as tight with the ratchet as you allow yourself (i hate straining the ratchet), then put the breaker bar on and just tweak it (without excessive force) untill it doesnt tweak anymore.

Basically put your hand on the socket over the nut/bolt, hold the breaker at the end and pull it towards you till its difficult, reposition the socket again, and do it again. You'l get the feel of it.
