NC lathe is a computer operated lathe which makes shit according to specific co-ordinates, i dealt with CNC lathes, mills and wire cutters and wrote all the programming during my apprentiship...can basically make anything outta metal.

a lathe is a spinning chuck you put material into and you turn/machine the certain piece into a cylindrical symmetric shape....no writing. Could od it with a mill and a tiny slot drill.

Actually i could possibly do it.... can go on the mill and do it, doin it with my gear knob .on the top ill be writing usin a 1mm cutter WLD MAN and getting it black annodized then gold paint in the letter

I work for my old boy at magnetic engineering mainly do steel supply but also have a biggish mazak 3 axis machining center, which I spend most of my time on.

I used to however work at diemould tooling along with Dave with the tommy mak who works down there on arvo's now.
