I'm about to buy a 1993 R33 GTS-T I took it for a test drive and everything seems to be great, there are a few minor scratches here and there but nothing that cant be fixed with touch up paint, apart from a small crack in the front spoiler which I think i could probably fix, engine check seems to be fine it's being sent to the shop for a full comprehensive test along with RWC. The car itself I think is a import from japan currently it's done about 157,000 which i thought was a good deal until I saw the odometer (They seller has bad english and stated it traveled 15K, I didn't actually think it was that low and kind of expected it to be 150K but I took a look anyway) he's also including a sony tape deck, with 10 disk changer.....which thanks to my ipod I will probs never use. as well as these features (listed below). Any input would be appreciated thanks

-Skyline R33 93'

-Turbo

-White

-17 "P1" racing bronze rims

-"Endless" racing use brake pad

-Japan "Tanabe" exhaust

-"Apex" air filter -Front bar

man i paid 20k 8 yrs ago for my 95model. the prices i see them go for now is rediculous. id like to see what silvias and 180's are going for now days.

just as long as the mechanincs is still good and it all depends on how much your willing to pay. get it checked out.

Yeh i paid $16 for mine at the end of 04... kinda sad what they go for really....

150K's isn't that much really as most of the one's under 100K's have been wound back...

Get a proper mechanic that knows Japanese cars to look over the car and you should be laughing...

even if it is goin for rwc get it checked over by someone u trust who knows what dere lookin for because dere is a lot of dodgy ppl out there who will give a rwc to any car.

Yea I found that out thanks to this forum i think i saved my self 8.5 grand, after a lot of reading just for the heck of it I decided to get the car checked out by State Roads, and man i'm so happy i did. Turns out the chassis had been in a major accident and it's been welded up, bent in several places and cracking everywhere. I'm going to start a new thread with a link to the guys ad and upload the State Roads Report cause I don't like how dishonest this guy was he was so eager to sell and was trying anything for me not to check this car out and now i know why. He told me it has never been in a crash and it was all in good nick, the State Roads guy REFUSED to test drive it thats how bad it was. I wish people weren't so dishonest, I eventually found this guy called Muhammad who has works in Braeside and does up AV for cars, he has a small business in where he imports cars from japan, he seems to be a straight up dude I like him a lot more then the other guy, he kept it real and didn't hide anything from me, told me where any dints were from the word go, so i'm buying one of his imports. Don't know if anyone here knows him, he's not part of the forums but I said he should start getting into it he has a SICK gold R34 M-SpecNur I'm sure people here would love to see it.
