Single Din Storage Box

Hey guys

I'm looking for a single DIN storage box for the slot under the aftermarket audio player.

I've seen a few on eBay but they are only around 10cm in depth.

I'm looking for ones about 15cm in depth, does anyone know where I could possibly find one of those?

I've sourced these before from Wrecking yards...

but from the Eastern Subs, you might as well get onto a yard that has a hot line.

I've seen but never used a Jap Wrecking Yard around St Peters

before you go on an exhaustive search - you might want to make sure that if you DID find a din pocket that deep that it wouldnt foul on anything behind it.

there are usually all sorts of wires etc behind that pocket. so you might want to check it out

I suppose if the original deck was a double din it SHOULD fit - as I am sure a double din unit would be deeper than 100mm

I had taken the factory double DIN unit out b4

and I'm certain that it is at least 15cm deep

Thanks for the link RusH_, I found one on the website for a Tiida

though it still seems not deep enough 4 me

I know the one you're talking bout Terry, is it on princes hwy?

I might go check that out if I have some time
