G'day People!

Please help me with my r33 gtst s2. Every time i brake the brakes squeek very loudly. I have had slotted rotors and cross drilled rotorss and now standard rotors. Every time I change rotors I also change pads but the squeeking never goes away!

Any suggestions / Past experiences?

Dave

You sure it's the front brakes? Could be the rear.

1. Use the shims (there should be 2 of them on front pads)

2. Use anti-squeal or use copper-grease between the shims and the piston (MAKE SURE YOU DON'T GET ANY BETWEEN THE PADS AND DISCS)

You should probably just machine the discs with each new set of pads, and bed the pads in very carefully.

And you have have the factory anti-squeal shim things as well (they go in the top of the disc above the pads).
