ok so im trying to turn up my boost and i cant get it past around 13psi right and when i take off the wastegate hose and free boost it still wont go over this amount of psi ??? wtf .the turbo is a hypergear tr43 ? and the wastegate is most defeinatly shut

Well that is why we made a 14psi actuator for high boost settings. Put that in and you can boost to what ever 14psi+ you like.

What???? He already said it won't boost with the actuator hose disconnected and he's sure the gate is shut.

Doesn't matter what actuator you give him, he's got a problem.

7Psi springs are not designed to hold that much manifold pressure. So its only made to work with stockish applications. If you need more boost run stronger actuator so it can hold more pressure. external gates are still highly recommended for high performance applications.

I asked about the intercooler because the stock one restricts boost, but you have no worries there.
