dori34
Pics as promised. used my crappy phone camera but will take some better pics later on with a proper camera. 17x8 +17, 225/45 front 17x9 +17 235/45 rear fronts stick out like 2~ish mm - prob will sit flush with a 215/45 tyre rear fits perfectly fine - neither needed any guard work however the fronts needed the splash guards removed. for the rears, if i was to choose new wheels, id go +13~ & for the fronts i'd go +20. may lower it some more in future to get it sitting a bit better but im happy atm with its fitment. Dal34
I'm going some Work Emotion XD9s in bronze on my dark blue pearl R34 GTT Coupe, my car sits damn low, you have no hope of getting a coke can around the front or sides, only the back is a abit forgiving. Going to have streched tyres on her. Front : 18x8, +35 offset Rear : 18x9, +38 offset I hope that it turns out okay and sits nicely close to the gaurds. SoFly
wouldnt need to stretch the tyres with the widths/offsets your getting for the 34. for that width and offset 225/255s will be fine to fill up the guards. if you want the a more aggressive look i'd go. 18x9 +20 215/40 and 18x10 +17 235/40.(or even 18x9+20 all round) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/234527-gtt-rims-offset/page/2/#findComment-4146544 Share on other sites

TR34GT-000
dori32 said: UPDATE: found out my front tyres are 225/50 and i think thats why its scrubbing still!!!! Hey Dori, The R34 GTT has a standard 17"x 7.5 + 35 offset Nissan rim that is fitted with 225 x 45 ZR 17 tyres. The link to the Aaron Bohnen tyre selection guide is listed below. (if you have Microsoft Excel) If you type in the standard Nissan 17" profile mentioned, in the left hand column, you will be able to see the tyres which will match your car the best in various widths and diameters. It also gives you the information of speed differences due to the wheel diameter differences. http://www.superjamie.net/garage/tire.xls The tyre rating symbols for various makes are also as follows: Tire Speed Rating Symbols: S - 180km/h or 112mph T - 190km/h or 118mph U - 200km/h or 125mph H - 210km/h or 130mph V - 240km/h or 149mph W(ZR) - 270km/h or 168mph Y(ZR) - 300km/h or 186mph ZRAbove - 300km/h or 186mph Yep, the 225 x 50 tyre may cause a few issues in the scrubbing department, and you are also travelling faster than your speedo would indicate. ie........you would be travelling at 103.5 km/hour when you speedo is reading 100 km/hour. If you save a copy of the guide, it will let you look at all sorts of combinations. You may also like to check out the past issue of High Perfromance Imports which addressed the maximum diameter and widths that would fit under normal R32, R33 and R34 guards. Apparently, the R33 had the best factory widths for 18 x 8.5 and 18 x 9.5 fitments. Safe motoring. Why would you bother getting such horrible offsets when buying new? Don't be weak, go 18x9 +20 front and 18x10 +18 rear. It'll fit fine with stretched tyres and a bit of guard love... TR34GT-000
What about Just Jap for a set of R34 GTR second hand rims? Awesome! I still like those freekin Lenso rims that Dori found. LOL For mine, it'll be 17" x 8 front and 17" x 9 rear with some wide 235mm and 255mm Marangoni tyres respectively. (dreams of more money) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/234527-gtt-rims-offset/page/2/#findComment-4164479 Share on other sites
