Thanks for a great day guys. Thoroughly enjoyed my first SAU event. Cant wait for the next one.

Well done to everyone who took pics also, good stuff!

Hey mate, your car is the sex  didn't get a chance to say hi, but next time for sure :D

I would love a DVD too Terry :)

It was a very good cruise, still spewing that my car wouldn't kick over after a damn wheel alignment...

just my kind of luck I spose :D

That's twice you've said that Steve - so you must be spewing!

Can't say that I want to do that with you!

Yeh, PM me your address for the dvd to be sent! :D

Thanks for introducing yourself - it meant a pleasant outing for me and Craig (brother-in-law)

haha... the worst part is that the car is only about a kilometer away, but locked in a workshop til tomorrow morning. My tuner called me up before and told me to try and turn it over cause he thinks it will fire now that it's been out of the rain long enough... BUT I CAN'T! :D

oh well, it happens :D

Not a problem, it was great to meet you and Craig. There were a few people that I wanted to introduce myself to, I knew there were some new club members coming along and I thought it would make it easier for everyone :) Didn't quite get around to meeting everyone I wanted though.

PM sent

There was a silver R33 GTST following the black supra for the first section, it has yellow/faded headlights. PM me if you want them cleaned, for free

That was me following you - the lights started out bright and clean and by the halfway house were faded over it is amazing what Supra's can do to you.

This was yet another well organised SAU event and all those attending were well behaved. I was pleased by how law abiding everyone was with no speeding on any of the straight stretches of road.

There are some good pictures posted up.

Thank you all for coming and thank you all for behaving yourselves brilliantly. That was one of the nicest SAU events ever. Sorry I was a bit hung over in the morning and didn't really go around introducing myself very much.

My fav pic of the day was teh 31 under teh tree. I'll check my camera now.

Hiya john,

Yes, Craig and I had a great time at lunch with you both.

We commented later on, how amiable Priscilla is and how you seem to suit each other! :P AW SHUCKS in advance lolz

Also notice in your post that you spell Priscilla with a capital "P" and your name with a little "j".

Is that because she's put you in your place already??? lolz :(

Yes 3 dvds have already gone out, so I'll look forward to your PM (with address incl.) or anyone else that was there on the day.

I went to the Official SAU ENVY Dyno Day, and I got a dvd of my R34 with the Australian R32, my son's R33 and the Haltech R35.

It was a photoshoot. And I'll include that dvd too since it's under the SAU banner.

Cheers,

Terry :)

It was a good cruise and a great day. It was nice to see everyone so well behaved. Putty's gotten a whole bunch smoother since I drove it last, too.

You should have seen the guys standing out front of the Ford dealership as about a half a dozen Skylines rolled by. Unsurprisingly, no-one at the Nissan across the road bothered coming out for a look. I'm sure they're still pretending the R33 and R34 didn't exist or something.

Mind you, I was right at the end of the line for food thanks to the unplanned detour some of us made. Next time, we should call ahead and tell the pub to staff up. :-)

It was good to meet some new faces, as well as catching up with some guys I hadn't seen in a while.

BTW, I know people asked for media coverage. I'm going to try and write something for the motoring blog I write for, and see if it gets published. Unfortunately, I didn't get too many shots so if people want to donate some photos for the article I'd appreciate it.

If anyone is willing to do so, can you PM them to me or send them to alan @ the motor report .com.au (no spaces).

Yes, I did see 2 Ford Salesmen out the front geeking at all those terrific looking throaty cars.

They even dressed up for the occasion with white collared shirts and ties - appropriate dress for an outstanding display of machinery!

:thumbsup::)
