Are 214/45/17s Ok On A Skyline?

Hey all,

Got some Work wheels recently, they had 245s at the back so that's ok.

At the front though there are Falken 215/45/17, stretched on 8" wide rim..\

Just wondering if it's ok to use the 215s on a R33? Like if the load rating is alright lol

They been ok so far, but don't want them to pop haha

The problem is not to do with 215s on a R33, it is more to do with using 215s on a 8" rim. I'm running 235s on a 8", and they look a bit narrow.

Should be fine mate, that's not a big stretch.

I saw 235's on an 11 inch the other day, now that was stupid stretch! I've had 205's on an 8 inch rim before, no problems.

lol, i run 215's on a 9" all day every day, absolutely no issues, even had them on 9.5's and been fine.

215's on a 8" rim is NOT a stretch, it will fit very comfortably.

maybe it's the stretched look with 215s but yeah, anyone else run them on skylines ok?
