Don't Know What This Is

im making a totally new back shelf to put in some 6x9's and clear out a few rattles, and i came accross this copmuter thingy. i have no idea what it is or what it does. theres a few wires going into it and nothing coming out. does anyone know? heres some pics:

i think that's the wiring for your rear lights bro. wouldn't go ripping those out in a hurry

from memory when i had my own parcel shelf out, i recall some of those wires n stuff going to the rear wiper / washer motor... again kinda important.

if you wanna fit 6x9s in the back put some spacers in... looks kinda gay but is much less of a bitch to make them fit.

cheers man!! i thought i was gonna be something like that. im gonna follow the 6x9 install like Eug did in the car audio and security forum bit. im staying away from it through. looked too important to mess with.
