My boss was speaking with your dad and brother and i got the impression it was running a 30 bottom end or was that another engine?

Yeah the article didnt make a few things very clear.

This Engine and gearbox is rwd as the whole combo is going in a c110 skyline I am building at the moment, I built this motor as I had a lot of parts I wanted to test on it, for example I am mocking up a dry sump setup at the moment and it is cheaper to test it on this motor that already runs numbers, amd runs perfectly than to try it on a fresh engine that has not been run yet. This car has a 30 bottom end half completed for it, and it will be awd auto when that combo goes in. I hope that makes sense.

Also the rb25 block was choosen as it is easier to run the rwd sump (ie the tin one) than to cut a good 4wd sump and make it rwd as you would have to do for a rb26. Also this was a really pristine rb25, and it has an rb26 crank, rods, pistons, head so is more or less a 26 now.

Thanks for the comments guys cheers

I scanned in the cover but my scanner isnt big enough and its pretty bad quality.
