Hello guys,

i have a question about the throttle sensor, there is one plug hole directly on it, also there ist one other cable leaving the Throttle sensor with a plug. Both the plug hole and the cable+plug are having 3 pins / cables.

So my question is are these both outputs the same or do they have both a different function ?.

I would be very thankful if you could help me out.

one is an idle switch, the other is the thottle postion sensor (potentiometer).

I've pulled one apart lol.

Thanks for the answer, so i suppose the cable+plug is the throttle position sensor and the plug hole is the idle switch if i'm right ?

Anyone know if at idle the idle switch makes or brakes contact (presume its just a grounded signal)?, ive used a few GTR D-jetro's on RB25's now with just TPS without major idle problems besides on 10 minute heat soak starts it idles to low and tries to stall, might try hook up a micro switch off the the throttle cam to opperate the idle switch function.
