Hi guys,

My housemate lost her garage remote control and we have to change the codes and re-tune the new controller.. anyone have any idea? I tried google-ing for manuals but just couldnt find the right one..

The garage door that i have is a

Gliderol (Glidermatic GTS)

Opened up the panel, and all i see is a switchboard with so many buttons..

At my old house, the garage had a reset/learn button which was there without having to even remove the panel..

Any help will be deeply appreciated.

Cheers,

Bernard

The ones my mate has is that you Press one button, then one remote and it locks into that memory, exmaple

Press the buttone (1) on the Garage door thing. then press the button on remote (1) straight after.

should work like that.

Gliderol (from my manual)

1. Press the LEARN code key once (on mine its the PCB-mounted push button on the main circuit board near the RF-reciever stuff)

2. the LEARN LED indicator will light up

3. Press the hand transmitter key that will operate the door (ie, Key 1 on the remote, the main button)

3. The learn LED light will go out.

Rinse and repeat for further new transmitters :/

I'll definitely try that out :P but is it possible for me to change the codes to a new one? just don't wanna risk the stolen controller being able to operate the garage..
