coming home from work tonight, driving through eltham i got breath-tested.. had been at work all day plus i hardly ever drink, but the lady officer gave my car a second glance and asked to see my licence.. she then walked around my car to find my discreet but still visible P plates... then she let me go!! boy was i nervous...

good to see the cops going easy on the new shitty green P plates and rear window tints.. they are harder to see than the old red ones, but still we get the benefit of the doubt. :)

sorry for possibly irrelevant thread but it was the first time id come across cops in my skyline, and to come out alive with demerit points still intact felt so good!

let me guess...u got pulled up at breath test station...u got so stressed about getting defected that as the cop was about to give u the breath test u grabbed his head and smashed it though the windscreen?

just a guess :)

Man I know the feeling, with all the horror stories I've heard I get stressed & would end up sweeting like a pig in fear the minute I see a cop car near me, so far my stock car is doing a pretty good job of blending in with the surrounding commo, falcon & camrys that the cops don't seem to notice me much at all :)

Once I had a cop walk onto the road, showed his badge & pulled up the riced lancer next to me (for a defect check I'm guessing, since both of us weren't speeding), while the other cop with the speed gun, saw me slowing down as well (since that cop walked on my lane 1st), giving me the hand signal to hurry up & be gone... by the end off it I was sweeting like a pig, coz my car was missing a water cap for the window washer & I have heard people getting defected for that...

haha reminds me when i was at an intersection;

my r32, commodore, riced up lancer.

We all took off normally from the lights, until the commodore next to me turned on his lights and pulled over the lancer.

Turned out it was a unmarked commodore cop car. Dodged a bullet there i reckon lol

i remember what happened to my gf. she was at the lights at burwood hwy - a done up s15 200sx pulled up along side her impreza. he looked over, saw that it was a woman driving, gave her a smile, started reving.

Lights turn green - burnout, blowoff valve, big exhaust, 0 - 100 in 6 seconds - 4 seconds after that , WEEOOOWEEOOWEOOOWEEEOOO - there was an unmarked commodore ss behind him that saw the whole thing.....

gf had a good laugh as she passed his now stopped 200sx

I'm actually happy to hear this.. when i first started seeing/not seeing the green ps under tints, the first thought i had was of the Police fining people for it.
